Please read the following terms and conditions carefully.

Persons under the age of 8 are not permitted to use the sauna. Persons under the age of 16, must be ALWAYS accompanied by an ADULT FAMILY MEMBER.

Alcohol and nudity are not permitted in the sauna. Cosy Cask Sauna operators reserve the right to refuse admission to intoxicated persons.

Persons under the age of 16 are not permitted to use the ice bath/plunge pool (if available).

Jewellery should be removed before entering the sauna to prevent burning.

Any glasses or contact lenses should be removed before entering the sauna to avoid any damage to coatings and to prevent contact lenses from drying out.

All persons using the sauna do so at their own risk. If you have any reservations regarding sauna use, it is essential that you consult your GP before making a booking.

You must not use the sauna if you:
Suffer from high or low blood pressure or any heart or circulatory disorder
Suffer from epilepsy or diabetes
Are pregnant
Are prone to dizziness or fainting
If you've had a heart attack or stroke
You have asthma or breathing conditions
If you have any reservations regarding sauna use, such as medical conditions, underlying health problems, the use of prescription drugs, or pregnancy, it is essential that you consult your GP before making a booking.

All persons using the lake as a 'cold plunge' do so at their own risk. It is your own responsibility to ensure that you are a capable swimmer and can handle being exposed to the cold temperatures and varying conditions of the water.

Sauna etiquette must be adhered to at all times. This includes;

Washing feet in the bucket provided before entering the sauna

Sitting on a towel at all times

Staying in the sauna for no longer than 20 min at a time (we recommend 5-15 min sessions)

Gently pouring water onto the sauna stove; drizzle, don't dump water

Only pouring the provided 'sauna water' on hot rocks and nothing else

Please refrain from bringing your own essential oils and other products for the session as these cannot be used in our sauna. Essential oils that haven't been approved for in-sauna use may react to the heat and release toxins, ignite on the stove, or create slippery surfaces inside the sauna.

If you are making this booking on behalf of a group, it is your responsibility to make your group aware of the terms and conditions and to practice safe sauna use.

Cosy Cask Sauna Ltd takes no responsibility for the damage or loss of property whilst using the sauna.
Cosy Cask Sauna operators reserve the right to refuse entry, cut short, or cancel sessions for any reason that may be deemed a health and safety risk, if there are concerns about risky behaviour, or if any of the above rules are not followed. Refunds will not be offered to anyone refused admission.
Cancellation Policy
Cancellations within 72 hours prior of your appointment will result in the full booking fee being charged.
Cancellations occurring between 3-6 days of your appointment will result in a 50% fee and a £3 administration fee.
Cancellations occurring 7 days prior to your appointment will result in a full refund, however a £3 administration fee will be applied.
